Education
The founder and co-owner of Radon Testing Labs, Inc. (RTL) is Dr. Zygmunt C. Gromadzki. Dr. Gromadzki graduated from the Scranton Preparatory School, where he concentrated in chemistry and physics. He then attended the University of Scranton and graduated with his bachelor's degree in physics in 1970. After college Dr. Gromadzki attended the University of Virginia, where he received his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Nuclear Physics in 1976. His Ph.D thesis involved the interaction of high-energy nuclear particles colliding with atomic nuclei. One of the nuclei he studied was radon. Dr. Gromadzki published 3 articles on theoretical nuclear physics while at the University of Virginia.
